Welcome to the Back When Cafe, where we are passionate about providing a unique and delicious dining experience. We opened August 19, 1991 and continue to serve New American cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Located in the historic downtown Wausau, our building is over 100 years old. The architecture is an ecclectic blend of the old and new with a touch of northwoods flair.
